Titans slide into victory
Titans slide into victory: The Willamette Valley Titans kicked off the Papa’s Pizza Invitational with a 9-7 victory over Tide Baseball of Newport at Swede Johnson Stadium on Wednesday morning. After missing out on a top-six finish at the tournament last season, the Titans are off to a strong start this year. In addition to their Wednesday morning victory, Willamette Valley earned an 8-8 tie with the 18U Zips later in the day.
