Eugene evens tourney record: After finding themselves on the wrong end of a one-hit shutout in a 10-0 loss on Wednesday, the Eugene Challengers came to the ballpark with a new approach on Thursday. The Challengers topped the 18U Zips of Seattle 3-0 at Swede Johnson Stadium on Thursday to improve to 1-1 in the Papa’s Pizza Invitational. Eugene kept its hopes of advancing to the final day of the tournament alive with the win.
